The Challenge

Erickson Immigration Group (EIG) recognized the potential of AI but did not initially focus on a specific business problem. Their goal was to leverage AI in various areas to enhance operations. Rather than deploying a broad AI platform, EIG needed to demonstrate AI’s practical applications to stakeholders. They required a concrete use case to illustrate its value.

The Solution

EIG, in partnership with CEI, built a custom AI platform, targeting use cases aligned with their operational needs. The AI solution was hosted on Azure’s OpenAI, ensuring all data remained within the company’s secure infrastructure. This approach maintained ChatGPT-like functionality, but with a key distinction: all data and operations were contained within the EIG ecosystem, ensuring privacy and security. 

Transformative AI-Driven Solutions at work

Ticket Categorization: Over 300 tickets are automatically categorized every month, streamlining support operations and freeing up valuable time for other tasks. 

NIW Assessment Processor: The system identifies key qualifications of employees, such as advanced degrees or extensive experience. It then provides a quick, easy-to-read assessment report, allowing decision-makers to determine which employees meet specific criteria for the National Interest Waiver (NIW) process. 

NIW Recommendation Letter Generator: The system generates draft recommendation letters by pulling data from the LinkedIn profile of the employee and combining it with their qualifications. This reduces the time and effort needed to produce high-quality recommendation letters for the NIW process. 

The Results

The AI platform now supports over 10 different technologies, including Semantic Kernel, .NET 8, MS Prompt Flow, Plugins, Skills, Connections, Bot Framework, Planners, and Vector Databases.
