CEI Develops Treasury Application for Telecommunications Giant

This Fortune 200 company is a leading provider of fully integrated wireless communications services worldwide. The company's treasure department required a web application that would track all financial transactions and provide extensive reporting options.
CEI employed a blended team of off-site analysts and offshore developers to successfully delivered a robust, scalable and maintainable application. CEI implemented the solution using J2EE architecture for this enterprise application. Also with a view to meeting real rather than perceived customer needs, an agile SCRUM life-cycle methodology was used to great success. Business Objects was used to develop an in-depth reporting module.
The application code was released to client incrementally, in sprints and their feedback continuously incorporated. CEI’s expertise in using an agile process was amply demonstrated in this project. With the success of the initial deployment, CEI was engaged to perform additional maintenance and support tasks.
